Sunrise Nursery

Founded in 1992 by Jose and Maria, immigrants from Portugal, Sunrise Nursery is a flourishing 40-acre family flower farm in Watsonville, California. What began as a small weekend project planting babys breath has evolved into a multi-generational legacy, now managed by the founders alongside their children. The nursery has grown from a struggling wholesale operation into a beloved staple of the California farmers market circuit, attending markets across the Bay Area, from San Francisco to Monterey. Specializing in "living pieces of art," they cultivate up to 40 varieties of seasonal bloomsincluding roses, sunflowers, tulips, and dahliasdriven by a deep-rooted work ethic and a mission to bring joy and color into people's homes.
