Kashiwase Farm
Winton , CASteve's grandfather started a 20-acre vineyard in the 1920s which they still own, and his father purchased most of the current acreage of Kashiwase Farms in 1948. After studying pomology and entomology at UC Davis, Steve began farming in the 1970s and grows almonds, apricots, peaches, Asian pears, pluots, and cherries, all organic since the 1990s. They have another generation ready to farm and look forward to showing them how to be environmentally conscious.
