Citrus includes many varieties of vibrant tree fruit such as oranges, lemons, grapefruit, limes, tangerines, and pomelos – all available in a wide variety within each type of citrus at your farmers' market. For example blood oranges, Persian limes, or Golden Nugget mandarins.

Some other fun citrus varieties to find at our markets include tangelos, kumquats, and citron. Kumquats are a tiny little tart, yet sweet morsel that you can pop in your mouth, rind and all! If you like to jam or make sweets, keep an eye out for some citron, such as the funky Buddha’s Hand.
